FEFCO represents 22 European National Associations in the Corrugated Packaging Industry and is mandated by these Active Members to represent them on a European level.
These associations are FEFCO’s direct members who themselves represent almost all European companies from small & medium size to large integrated companies.

The objectives of the Federation are to investigate economic, financial, technical and marketing issues of interest to the corrugated packaging industry, to analyse all factors, which may influence our industry, and to promote and develop its image.

FEFCO’s role is to provide information to its members and it is a European link to the National Associations. FEFCO is mandated by its Active Members to represent them on a European level.

The strategy implemented in 1998 by President of FEFCO,
Lothar Jacobmeyer, includes the following :

- Improve our expertise in EU Legislation.
- Understand and anticipate the developments of the packaging market in general and the corrugated packaging market in particular.
- Initiate an action plan aimed at influencing key decision-makers and opinion formers.
- Increase the visibility of our industry by reinforcing our presence at fairs, exhibitions and conferences.
- Provide an excellent service as well as specific information to our clients.
